Summary: Help Overcomer residents prepare to pass their GED test by tutoring at the Overcomers Center. Tutoring sessions are on Tuesdays.

Tasks:

Assist with various basic studies Explain concepts using multiple methods

Qualifications & Skills:

Must have a college degree  Experience teaching/tutoring a plus 21 years old or older Patience Male or Female Experience with Greenville Literacy or other GED prep program preferred

Specific Tasks:

Help style guests' hair Have a friendly, uplifting attitude

Qualifications & Skills:

Should have experience with hair styling in a professional setting Hair styling students may apply with the recommendation of a teacher

 

Summary: We are seeking skilled professionals to provide help tax returns and guidance on fixing past tax issues. The ideal person would be a retired accountant or a retired person with some tax experience. 

Specific Tasks:

Guide guests with information about filing Help guests know what documentation they need Help file taxes using tax preparation software

Qualifications & Skills:

Should have experience preparing taxes  Should have documentation of experience  Junior and Senior accounting students will be accepted if sponsored by their tax professor
