Summary: Front desk volunteers at our administrative office relieve front desk staff during lunch and periodic meetings. The front desk is the voice and face of Miracle Hill for many first time callers and visitors. We uphold this position with great respect as it can be fast-paced and these volunteers must remain calm under some pressure.
Specific Tasks:
- Be available for three hours on Monday through Friday to relieve staff for lunch and periodic meetings
- Answer the main Miracle Hill phone number and determine how best to help the caller
- Transfer calls to other facilities or staff members within Miracle Hill
- Greet visitors with a friendly smile and willingness to help
Qualifications and Skills:
- Possess appropriate phone etiquette
- Ability to take notes and transfer messages to staff in the administrative offices
- Must be friendly and engaging to greet people who are visiting the administrative offices
