Volunteer: Renewal Wade Hampton - Meal Preparation

Meal Preparation

Renewal Wade Hampton is inviting individuals or small groups of volunteers (no more than 3 per meal) to assist us with simple meal preparation for the ladies in our program.

We prefer to have individuals or groups willing to commit to cooking for our guests on a recurring basis, i.e. one day per week. This is a great opportunity for larger groups that may want to split into 4 teams (one for each week of the month).

The Renewal Wade Hampton kitchen will be stocked with the needed menus, food, and supplies.

LUNCH volunteers will arrive at 10:30 am to prepare the meal which is served at noon. Volunteers are not required to serve or clean, simply prepare and go.

DINNER volunteers will arrive at 4 pm to prepare the meal which is normally served around 6. Volunteers are not required to serve or clean up, simply prepare and go.

Shifts available:

Monday DinnerFriday Lunch (biweekly)Friday Dinner (except 3rd Friday)

If you have any questions, please contact Hannah Alger, Volunteer Coordinator at halger@miraclehill.org.

Volunteer: Renewal Wade Hampton - Provide a Meal

If you or your group would like to bless our ladies by providing a meal for them, please respond to this need and follow the instructions below.

We follow DHEC guidelines meaning that all prepared foods brought into the facility must come from a DHEC inspected kitchen. This could be a restaurant, caterer or grocery deli for example. No food that is prepared in a home kitchen can be served at our facility.

Alternatively, individuals / groups may donate non-prepared food (groceries) for a meal that our staff and residents could use to prepare in our DHEC compliant kitchen.

Either way, you are supporting our ministry with a delicious meal that would be a special treat for us.

If you have any questions, please contact Hannah Alger, Volunteer Coordinator at halger@miraclehill.org..
