At Miracle Hill Thrift there are multiple ways to volunteer!
Below is a list of general duties that can assist our thrift staff and managers:
Special thrift projects are specified by Thrift leadership. Projects may take place at any thrift location and can include but are not limited to:
- Construction projects
- Landscaping around store property
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Ability to bend, lift, move product between containers and work on one’s feet for an entire shift; often standing in a stationary position.
- Lift and move items such as clothing, bric brac, small furniture, etc.
- Manipulate tagging and pricing guns in a repetitive manner.
Age Requirements
- Volunteers should be at least 18 years old to serve individually.
- Volunteers ages 12- 15 can serve while accompanied by one chaperone for every three youth.
- Volunteers ages 16 -17 year olds can serve individually with parent/guardian signature on their liability waiver.
