Summary:
We are looking for volunteers interested in driving guests (‘clients’) to work appointments, driving to pick up food donations throughout Spartanburg, and possibly a couple other locations.
Specific Tasks:
- Available one day a week Mon through Fri
- Shift is from 6 am – 11 am
- Volunteer will drive a mini 15 passenger bus (NO CDL required)
- Clean driving record required
- Ability to pass a sex offender background check
- Volunteers will not be alone with guests—we will always have accountability with you in the form of a ride along passenger
- Volunteer won’t have to lift heavy donations; objects will be lifted by others
- All routes are in Spartanburg, SC, but you don’t have to know your way around Spartanburg. We will have someone help navigate
Qualifications & Skills:
- Dependable
- Complete and sign Vehicle Use Form (provided to volunteer by Miracle Hill)
- Have at least a 5 year history of a driver's license (not including learner's permit)
- Pass a sex offender registry
