As part of the Overcomers' Center, we operate Restoration Way, an 8-house transition village that can house up to 48 guys at once. These men are coming out of a 7-month addiction recovery program, and are jumping back into some normal rhythms of life: jobs, family relationships, church life, etc.. Part of that is living in a community of other men that are striving to lean into each other and their relationship with God.
We are looking for small groups to host cookouts for the men as a way of encouraging them to continue to live in sobriety. We have grills, a common gathering area, and a fire pit that is perfect for this type of event.
