Summary:
As of July 13th, our guests will be taking all of their classes in mornings.So we will need assitance in preparing the lunch meal. This could be a reoccuring sponsorship (bringing in a prepared meal) or preparing the meal with materials we have. There are currently 20 slots available each month.
Volunteers (must be at least 14 years of age, and anyone under 18 MUST be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times) will work alongside our kitchen team to help prepare and serve dinner for our residents.
Specific Tasks
- Prepare/Provide a meal for 75 men in our program
- Please wear comfortable & conservative clothing that you aren’t concerned about getting dirty.
- Please wash your hands, wear disposable gloves & hairnets (available in the kitchen) if you are handling food.
We encourage you to enjoy your serving time at the Overcomers' Center; feel free to photograph yourself and/or your group while you are here! Just be sure to protect the privacy of our residents by not including them in your photos.
