Radiating Hope – Ellen Civiletto

The Miracle Hill Renewal Center has so many wonderful volunteers. These volunteers serve in various capacities such as leading devotions, teaching classes, hosting fun activities, and so much more!

One position not as familiar is our Meal Preparation Position at Renewal Wade Hampton. Formerly the Miracle Hill Boy’s Home, Renewal Wade Hampton has expanded the Renewal Program’s capacity to serve women who are suffering with life dominating addictions and associated issues.

As a retired nurse and social worker, Ellen began looking for ways to serve others. After volunteering with several other organizations, Ellen was drawn to Miracle Hill because she desired to serve in a like-minded Christian organization.

Ellen’s love for the Lord and for others radiates through her diligent work in the Renewal Wade Hampton kitchen. She takes the simple ingredients of a sandwich or salad and turns them into a lovely meal. Her food not only tastes good, but she also takes pride in presenting it well.

Although this position is mostly behind the scenes, Ellen makes each interaction with the guests a sweet one.

Thank you, Ellen, for bringing hope and dignity to the women at Renewal!

"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:16, NIV)
