Our foster families have a special place to go to gather items they need to make their fostering experience a success- The Vine Room.
Volunteers are needed to help sort donations, stock shelves with items, neaten the area, organize toys, hang clothing, and assist families.
The Vine Room is open Friday mornings for our Miracle Hill Foster Families from 10am-12pm. (Additional dates for “Christmas shopping” will be posted.)
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Ability to bend, lift, move product between containers and work on one’s feet for an entire shift; often standing in a stationary position.
- Lift and move items such as clothing, baby equipment, bins of clothing, small furniture, etc.
Requirements
- Volunteers should be at least 18 years old to serve individually.
- Volunteers ages 10 and older can serve while accompanied by one chaperone for every three youth.
- Volunteers must have a volunteer account and sign a volunteer waiver.
- Parents or guardians of students age 10-15, who do not have a Miracle Hill Volunteer account, will be required to sign a digital Miracle Hill Liability Waiver for the student to volunteer.
