Who We Are
As an organization whose mission is to serve people experiencing homelessness, Miracle Hill assumes the responsibility to help children in foster care find stable, safe, and loving homes.
Our foster care program answers the call to help children the best way we know how: by bridging the gap between the number of children in foster care and the number of foster families in our state. Miracle Hill is a private foster care provider that helps recruit foster families and provides them with support throughout the licensing process, placements, and beyond.
What We Do
Miracle Hill recruits foster families throughout the Upstate of SC to provide a safe, loving and nurturing home for those who do not have a secure family.
After foster families receive their foster care license, we follow the family through their journey of bringing a child into their home. We have care coordinators who ensure that the child and family are thriving during the indefinite amount of time where the child is in the home.
Oftentimes, we have special events where we can use volunteer assistance, as well as assistance making life better for the families. Donations such as toilet paper, paper towels, household cleaning products, diapers (all sizes), children's and teen's underwear (all sizes), socks (bitty baby-adult sizes) help us love on these families during what can be a transition both for the child and foster parent(s).
