Summary: Serve as a Mentor to a program participant. Miracle Hill holds highly the position of Mentors. Mentors provide accountability, build trust and friendship, and provide support to program guests & graduates. Mentors have the ability to influence spiritually and personally. Due to the responsibilities involved in the mentor relationship, we require background checks to ensure the safety of those in the care of Miracle Hill. Thank you for your interest in serving in this vital role.
Specific Tasks:
- Provide friendship and spiritual guidance to a program participant.
- Communicate and visit with your mentee on a regular basis.
- Commit to a minimum of 6 months.
- Commit to weekly meetings (for at least the first 6 weeks).
- Attend Mentee Graduation.
- Be available for contact with Mentee as needed; respond ASAP to contact.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and exhibit a consistent, Christ-like testimony to those your life would impact.
- Must be a person who fulfills commitments.
- Must complete the Miracle Hill Mentor training.
- Must complete and sign the Mentor agreement.
- Must complete & pass required checks including: Motor Vehicle Record check, Sex Offender Registry Check
