Summary: Provide transportation for our guests to and from sites within Cherokee County for jobs, interviews, volunteer sites, health care appointments, etc. The volunteer must pass background checks, and will drive the ministry’s van.
Specific Tasks:
- Pick up Resident at the Rescue Mission 30 minutes prior to start of transportation shift.
- Drive Resident to job and/or appointment.
- A shift may require the volunteer to stay with the Resident for the duration of the appointment.
- Drive the Resident back to the Greenville Rescue Mission after the appointment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 25 years old
- Dependable
- Complete and sign Vehicle Use Form and MVR
- Have at least a 5 year history of a drivers license (not including learner's permit)
