Summary: We need folks willing to substitute at the front desk! This role involves relieving the front desk staff during lunch and periodic meetings. The front desk is the voice and face of Miracle Hill for many first time callers and visitors. We uphold this position with great respect as it can be fast-paced and these volunteers must remain calm under pressure.
Specific Tasks:
- Be available for two-three hours during the week to relieve staff for lunch and periodic meetings
- Answer the main Miracle Hill phone number and determine how best to help the caller
- Transfer calls to other facilities or staff members within Miracle Hill
- Greet visitors with a friendly smile and willingness to help
Qualifications and Skills:
- Possess appropriate phone etiquette
- Ability to take notes and transfer messages to staff in the administrative offices
- Must be friendly and engaging to greet people who are visiting the administrative offices
- Substitutes will need to be available throughout the week as we oftentimes have volunteers cancel last minute
